The air/oil separator is generally composed of the primary separation of the oil and gas barrel and the second separation of the oil and gas separator.
The oil and gas mixture contains large and small oil droplets coming out of the exhaust port of the air compressor main engine and entering the oil and gas barrel. And most of the oil and gas mixture oil falls to the bottom of the tank under the action of centrifugal force and gravity. The compressed air containing oil mist (suspended oil particles below 1-micron diameter) must be filtered for secondary separation by the micron and glass fiber layer of the oil and gas separation filter element.
